Local Control and Accountability Plan
The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a comprehensive three-year planning document that outlines how Helendale School District will use its resources to improve student outcomes and address the unique needs of our community. Required under California's Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), the LCAP serves as our roadmap for achieving specific goals in eight state priority areas, including student achievement, school climate, parent engagement, and access to curriculum and programs.
The LCAP is developed through meaningful collaboration with students, parents, teachers, staff, and community members to ensure our plans reflect the voices and priorities of those we serve. Each year, we update the LCAP based on data analysis, educational partner feedback, and progress toward our established goals. This transparent process helps ensure accountability and demonstrates how district resources are being invested to provide every student with the support they need to succeed. You can review our current LCAP to learn more about our commitments, see how we measure progress, and understand how your input shapes our educational priorities.
