About the school
The starting point for every Hawk
Helendale Elementary School builds the strong academic foundation and the everyday confidence that carry children through the rest of their education. Serving students from transitional kindergarten through sixth grade, teachers pair core instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics with hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math, brought to life each year at events such as the school STEAM Expo and Open House.
Beyond the classroom, students grow through positive behavior programs, recreational activities, and an active Parent, Teacher, and Community Association that keeps families close to the work of the school. Small class communities allow staff to know each child personally and to meet learners exactly where they are.
At Helendale Elementary, the goal is simple: to help every young Hawk discover that they can learn, create, and belong.
