 On behalf of the Board of Education, I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our web site. Helendale School District is a relatively small school district with a big heart for students. Our Board and the community are committed to academic excellence. In 2008 the community passed its first ever bond, which has allowed the district to build a new state-of-the-art campus for the Riverview Middle School and the Academy of Careers and Exploration. We are very excited that the new Helendale Secondary Schools’ campus will be ready for the start of the school year which begins on September, 7th, 2010. I am proud to also state that our elementary school is able to offer a full range of educational programs to meet the needs of our students. Our schools are a safe place for students to learn. I look forward to being your Interim Superintendent for the 2010/11 school year and will do so with a heart of servitude. I am excited about what Helendale School District can do for kids with our dedicated staff, caring parents, and supportive community. As a dad and grandpa, I know how important education is.
